How to print and frame your certificate properly

Printing

Print at A4, 100% scale, with 'fit to page' switched off, that is the single most common mistake and it shrinks the border. Choose the highest quality setting your printer offers.

• Paper: 160–250gsm matte or lightly textured stock
• Avoid glossy photo paper, it fights the engraved look
• Colour, not greyscale, even for the Modern design

Framing

A standard A4 frame works, but a frame with a mount board makes an enormous difference for very little money. Dark wood suits Heritage and Royal; a plain black or oak frame suits Modern.
